Fresh out of a master's in interaction design from Université Laval, I'm a UX designer based in Québec City. I'm looking for a role that will let me grow, learn, and show what I can do.
In CEGEP, I first enrolled in electronics engineering, where I developed a taste for the technical side: soldering, coding, understanding how things work. Before finishing, I shifted toward the social sciences, drawn to psychology and human behaviour. I then chose graphic design at university, and it was my first UX courses, in second year, that gave me a taste for interaction design and led me to pursue the master's. Alongside my studies, I worked for several years as a server, a job I still hold full-time while I look for a position in my field. Customer service has taught me a lot: every person is different, and you have to adapt your service to each client. Managing your stress, even in situations that can overwhelm you, is just as essential.
As a junior designer, my goal is simple: to get a chance to prove what I'm capable of. I'm ready to learn, to give my all, and to put everything I've learned into practice. All that's left is to make it happen.
A big video game enthusiast since the age of 10, a passion sparked by my brother and cousins that I still keep today. I also love playing several different sports: I played volleyball in high school and CEGEP, and I still play for fun. I also did freestyle skiing for a long time when I was younger. Over the past few months, I've really gotten into cycling, running, and swimming, with the goal of completing an Ironman 70.3 triathlon next summer.
